The camera does not open
Open system settings → Apps → Scan Genie → Permissions and make sure Camera is enabled. If you declined it earlier, you need to turn it back on manually.

Recognition is inaccurate
For best results, keep the lighting even, the page flat and the text filling the frame. If the document language differs from the setting, switch it in settings.
Cannot find the exported file
The export target may have been the gallery or a specific folder. Search for the most recent file in your gallery or file manager, or export again to a chosen directory.

Which platforms are supported?
Both HarmonyOS and Android. Check the store page for the minimum version.
Does it need the internet?
Scanning, cropping and text recognition happen on your device and do not need a network. Only downloading and updating the app do.
Can the recognised text be exported?
Yes. You can copy the text, or export it together with the scan as PDF or images.
Is it free?
It is free to use. If an optional paid feature is added later, it will be clearly described in the app and entirely up to you.
How do I uninstall it?
Find Scan Genie under app management in system settings and uninstall it. Files you have already exported remain in your storage.
