This policy explains what information Scan Genie handles, how it is used, and how to contact us.
1.1 The images you capture or import: used only to crop, enhance and recognise text on your device.
1.2 The recognition results: extracted text and exported PDF / image files, saved where you choose.
1.3 The contact details you provide: when you write to us for support, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
We process this information only to provide the features described above, and never for unrelated purposes.
Cropping, enhancement and text recognition run on your device by default; we do not upload your images or recognition results to a server.
If a future version offers an optional feature that needs the network, we will state it clearly here and ask for your consent before use.
Camera: to photograph documents.
Storage / gallery: to import existing images and to save recognition results and exports.
We do not sell or rent your information, and will not share it with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.
This app does not collect personal information from children. If you believe we have processed a minor's information without guardian consent, contact us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and state a new effective date.
